A Successful Trade Show Appearance: OBTEGO at World of Concrete 2026 in Shanghai

From August 12 to 14, OBTEGO was represented at WOCA in Shanghai, China—together with our distribution partner Jörg Hüls and our colleague Martin Königer, who organized and managed our booth at the trade show.

The three days of the trade show were a complete success. From the very beginning, attendance was high, and we had numerous interesting conversations at our booth—both with existing contacts and with many new prospects who wanted to learn about our systems for protecting and enhancing concrete. Even though this year’s WOCA was smaller overall than in recent years, interest was noticeably high and the response was consistently positive.

What’s particularly nice is that many of these conversations are already leading to concrete projects. For example, as early as next week, a construction company will be creating a sample area using P-3 and R-405—a clear example of how quickly an initial contact at the trade show can turn into real-world projects.

An event like this thrives on the dedication of the local people. We would therefore like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jörg Hüls and Martin Königer, who represented OBTEGO at WOCA with great dedication and passion. We are delighted by the many ideas we’ve gained from China and are eager to see what comes of the numerous discussions in the coming weeks.
