What is OBTEGO TerrazzoPro?
OBTEGO TerrazzoPro is a protection system as used in industrial environments. The hybrid impregnations are to be seen between an impregnation and a seal.
Functionality
The basis is a collection of different silanes that penetrate deep into the surface, and a silane-modified, functional polysilocane (solan siloxane). When penetrating the capillaries are not only lined, but largely filled. This leads to a denser and thus more consistent surface. Depending on the customer's requirement, even a hue deepening of the surface can be achieved.
Scope of application
By grinding the surface down to the aggregates, the terrazzo is very porous and in most cases first has to be filled. However, even after pore-filling the surface, there is still a high absorbency and thus a strong stain sensitivity. This is where the OBTEGO TerrazzoPro solution comes in, offering optimal stain protection.
TerrazzoPro systems
To protect terrazzo floors, the OBTEGO R-400 system or the OBTEGO R-405 system is used in most cases. However, other OBTEGO systems can also be used. Which system suits best for your terrazzo, we are happy to clarify with an individual consultation.
Refurbishment

OBTEGO DesignPro is a protection system for design floors. The hybrid impregnations are to be seen between an impregnation and a seal.
Properties
The protection products themselves are no different from the OBTEGO TerrazzoPro solution. The properties of the DesignPro therefore corresponds to the properties of the TerrazzoPro.
Application
OBTEGO DesignPro is used on design floors. Self-leveling putty and leveling compounds as well as smoothed cement screeds are often offered as design flooring.
DesignPro systems
To protect design floors, the OBTEGO P-10 and R-400 system is used in most cases. However, other OBTEGO systems can also be used. Which system suits best for your design area, we will be pleased to clarify in an individual consultation.
Refurbishment
