OBTEGO R-40 penetrates into the surface and reacts there with the ground to a solid unit.
Application
OBTEGO R-40 is mainly used on absorbent, wing-smoothed monolithic concrete floors and screeds. Further areas of application are also conditional cementitious leveling compounds as well as concrete floors, which are only posted or provided with a broom mark. Thanks to its pigmented surface finish, OBTEGO R-40 is ideal for use on new, uneven concrete surfaces or on old surfaces. The system can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Refurbishment
On old, dirty surfaces, the surface must be prepared by diamond grinding technology to restore a clean and absorbent surface. In some cases a basic cleaning with OBTEGO C-10 is sufficient.
Note for professionals
The use is only possible on cementitious floor surfaces or after patterning.
